Andalusite is often found yellow green to brownish green with a brownish red overtone caused by Pleochroism. Strong Pleochroism in Andalusite can be most captivating to the eye displaying more then one color at the same time. Not so easy to find quality pieces like this procurred from a special lot of old mine stock from Brazil.
